Highly Secure In Vivo DNA Data Storage Driven by Genomic Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated computational‐biological programming enables secure in vivo data storage by generating code tables from either genomes or gene regulatory networks, expanding the encryption key space by over 100 orders of magnitude. Storing code tables within synthetic genes, genomes, or gene regulatory networks adds an additional layer of security by ...

Bioinspired Tissue Transparency: Achieving Sclera‐to‐Cornea Transplantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioinspired decellularization‐compression‐locking tactic (DCLT) is developed to transform human sclerae into transparent corneal substitutes. These clear, robust, and pro‐regenerative substitutes are capable of repairing complex corneal injuries, including chemical burns, keratoconus, and penetrating wounds, demonstrating their clinical potential to ...

Alkaline Phosphatase‐Activated NIR‐II AIEgens Nanosystem for Surgical and Postoperative Closed‐Loop Therapy of Advanced Osteosarcoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study designed a tumor microenvironment‐responsive AIEgen nanoparticle for near‐infrared photoimmunotherapy, which inhibits primary tumors and metastasis by promoting pyroptosis and suppressing aerobic glycolysis. ABSTRACT In advanced osteosarcoma, tumor invasion often prevents complete resection, and immunotherapy is limited by the tumor's ...

S3RL: Enhancing Spatial Single‐Cell Transcriptomics With Separable Representation Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Separable Spatial Representation Learning (S3RL) is introduced to enhance the reconstruction of spatial transcriptomic landscapes by disentangling spatial structure and gene expression semantics. By integrating multimodal inputs with graph‐based representation learning and hyperspherical prototype modeling, S3RL enables high‐fidelity spatial domain ...

Targeting Peptostreptococcus anaerobius with an Iron‐Based Nanozyme Reverses Ferroptosis Resistance and Enhances Antitumor Immunity in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An iron‐based nanozyme selectively eliminates intratumoral P. anaerobius while catalytically generating ROS to induce ferroptosis, synergistically suppressing colorectal cancer growth and activating anti‐tumor immunity through immunogenic cell death. ABSTRACT The intratumoral microbiota is a critical determinant of therapeutic outcomes in colorectal ...

Targeting the GPX4–FUNDC1 Interaction with Magnesium Lithospermate B Attenuates Sepsis‐Associated Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The diagram depicts the endothelial‐protective mechanism of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) in sepsis‐associated lung injury. MLB binds GPX4 at Gly79, disrupts its interaction with FUNDC1, prevents mitophagy‐mediated GPX4 degradation, restores mitophagic flux, reduces ROS, and limits ferroptosis.

Predestination

Scottish Journal of Theology, 1953
The classical discussion of the doctrine of Predestination and the problem of Free-will is still to be found in Luther's book, the Bondage of the Will. In the course of four hundred pages he ranges through profound Biblical exegesis, trenchant theological statement, narrow scholastic argument, virulent vituperation—developing, through it all, the most ...

Predestination

2018
Predestination appears to be a religious or theological version of universal determinism, a version in which the final determining factor is the will or action of God. It is most often associated with the theological tradition of Calvinism, although some theologians outside the Calvinist tradition, or prior to it (for example, Augustine and Thomas ...
