ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Hybrid Data-Enabled Predictive Control: Incorporating Model Knowledge Into the DeePC
Predictive control can either be data-based (e.g. data-enabled predictive control, or DeePC) or model-based (model predictive control). In this paper we aim to bridge the gap between the two by investigating the case where only a partial model is ...

Symbolic Domain Predictive Control
Planning-based methods to guide switched hybrid systems from an initial state into a desired goal region opens an interesting field for control. The idea of the Domain Predictive Control (DPC) approach is to generate input signals affecting both the numerical states and the modes of the system by stringing together atomic actions to a ...

Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.

Sparse Packetized Predictive Control for Networked Control over Erasure Channels [PDF]
We study feedback control over erasure channels with packet-dropouts. To achieve robustness with respect to packet-dropouts, the controller transmits data packets containing plant input predictions, which minimize a finite horizon cost function.

Preconditioning for continuation model predictive control
Model predictive control (MPC) anticipates future events to take appropriate control actions. Nonlinear MPC (NMPC) deals with nonlinear models and/or constraints. A Continuation/GMRES Method for NMPC, suggested by T.

Research on predictive control for mine high-pressure three-level ANPC inverter
A predictive control program for mine high-pressure three-level ANPC inverter based on predictive model control was proposed. The program uses current predictive control to achieve three-level ANPC high dynamic performance and unity power factor control,

ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

ABSTRACT End‐of‐life conversations with adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer rarely occur without the guidance of healthcare professionals. As a part of the ‘Difficult Discussions’ study, focused on palliative care and advance care planning discussions with AYAs with cancer, we investigated the factors that healthcare professionals identify ...
