Improvement of the optimally-weighted predictor-corrector method for nuclear fuel burnup calculations

Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology, 2020
A new burnup calculation method for burnable absorber-containing fuels called the Advanced Optimally-Weighted Predictor-Corrector (AOWPC) method is proposed based on the OWPC method.

Generalized Multistep Predictor-Corrector Methods

Journal of the ACM, 1964
The order p which is obtainable with a stable k -step method in the numerical solution of y′ = f ( x , y ) is limited to p = k + 1 by the theorems of

Predictor-corrector implementation of EQUIP methods

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2018
In this paper we are concerned with the predictor-corrector implementation of a class of numerical integrators which can be considered as energy-conserving variants of the Gauss collocation methods.

A new finite-difference predictor-corrector method for fractional differential equations

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2018
We present a new finite-difference predictor-corrector method (L1 - PCM) to solve nonlinear fractional differential equations (FDEs) along with its error and stability analysis. The method is further extended for systems of FDEs.

Parallel implicit predictor corrector methods

Applied Numerical Mathematics, 2002
Development of the parallel implicit predictor corrector method for initial value problems, a parallel block method, theory, stability, error estimates, practice. Parallelization ``across the method''. Interesting choice of predictor without or with one or with two corrector steps reduces all-to-all communication essentially.

Cyclic Composite Multistep Predictor-Corrector Methods

SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1971
Multistep predictor-corrector methods are commonly used for the numerical solution of ordinary differential equations. In its simplest form, a k-step method with accuracy of order exceeding $k+2$ is unstable. Methods such as those of Gragg and Stetter [7] and of Butcher [1] obtain high accuracy while retaining stability.
