Evaluation of Preemergent Herbicides for Chloris virgata Control in Mungbean [PDF]

open access: yesPlants, 2021
Chloris virgata is a problematic weed in mungbean crops due to its high seed production, resistance to glyphosate and high dispersal ability. Pot and field experiments were conducted in 2020 and 2021 to evaluate a range of preemergent (PRE) herbicides for C. virgata control in mungbean.

Preemergent Bittercress Control on a Gravel Groundcover [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Horticulture, 2001
Abstract Bittercress (Cardamine hirsuta) is a problem weed year round in Southeastern U.S. container nurseries. It readily establishes itself on gravel production surfaces and in containers, producing seeds in 4 to 5 weeks. Gravel has limited adsorption sites for herbicides, and higher use rates are required for control.

Evaluation of some herbicides efficacy for weed control in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) L [PDF]

open access: yesپژوهش‌های حبوبات ایران, 2010
The lack of herbicides for broadleaf weed control is one of the most important challenges ofchickpea production in Iran. Field experiments were conducted in Lorestan, Kermanshah, East andWest Azerbaijan to evaluate weed control and chickpea response to ...

Efficacy of HPPD-inhibiting herbicides applied preemergence or postemergence for control of multiple herbicide resistant waterhemp [Amaranthus tuberculatus (Moq.) Sauer]

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Plant Science, 2019
: Research was conducted in 2017 and 2018 to determine the relative efficacy of five HPPD-inhibitors, tank-mixed with atrazine, for the control of multiple herbicide resistant waterhemp.

Control of glyphosate-resistant waterhemp (Amaranthus tuberculatus) in dicamba - resistant soybean in New York

open access: yesWeed Technology
Recent reports of glyphosate-resistant (GR) waterhemp pose serious concerns among crop producers in New York. Field experiments were conducted in 2019 and 2020 near Waterloo, New York, to evaluate the effectiveness of preemergence, postemergence ...

Biologically effective dose of diflufenican applied preemergence for the control of multiple herbicide–resistant waterhemp in corn

open access: yesWeed technology
Waterhemp is a dioecious species with wide genetic diversity which has enabled it to evolve resistance to several commonly used herbicide groups in North America. Five field trials were established in Ontario to ascertain the biologically effective doses
