ABSTRACT Consumer financial decisions, traditionally viewed as rational, are increasingly recognized as being influenced by emotions and intuition. This study examines how imagery and emotions in financial contexts influence decision‐making, specifically in hypothetical loan approvals where loan application documents include carefully selected imagery.

Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide (PACAP) Signaling in The Prefrontal Cortex Modulates Cued Fear Learning, But Not Spatial Working Memory, in Female Rats [PDF]
A genetic polymorphism within the gene encoding the pituitary adenylate cyclase- activating polypeptide (PACAP) receptor type I (PAC1R) has recently been associated with hyper-reactivity to threat-related cues in women, but not men, with post-traumatic ...

Serotonergic Modulators in Alzheimer's Disease: A Hope in the Hopeless Condition
ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the main cause of dementia worldwide. AD is a progressive brain neurodegenerative disease due to genetic and environmental factors that induce a progressive accumulation of intracellular hyperphosphorylated tau protein and extracellular amyloid protein (Aβ).

Restrained Eating Features and Brain Morphology: A Pediatric Population‐Based Study
ABSTRACT Objective Anorexia nervosa, a restrictive eating disorder that is most commonly seen in females, is associated with alterations in gray matter (GM) and white matter (WM) structures. However, little is known about how restrained eating (RE) and the body mass index‐standard deviation score (BMI‐SDS) are related to brain morphology and whether ...
