Usefulness of the basal metabolic rate in pregnancy

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1952

Ovulation and Pregnancy Rates With Clomiphene Citrate

Obstetrics & Gynecology, 1978
A review of recent experience with clomiphene citrate at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center yields the following conclusions: 1) Clomiphene citrate administered at high doses (150 mg and 200 mg) is effective in inducing ovulation in women who would otherwise have failed to conceive if treatment were restricted to only lower dosage regimens.

GnRHa flare and IVF pregnancy rates

International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 2003
AbstractObjectives: GnRH agonist administered early in the menstrual cycle (flare) causes an endogenous discharge of FSH and LH. Cumulative pregnancy rates for in vitro fertilization

Fertility and Sterility, 1986

Age and pregnancy rates in in vitro fertilization

Journal of In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer, 1991
The influence of women's age on the results of in vitro fertilization (IVF) was analyzed in 1801 women undergoing the procedure. Advancing age was found to be related to significant reduced success rates from an average of 30.1% per transfer below the age of 36 years to 15.9% per transfer at 37 years or more (P less than 0.001).
