ABSTRACT Proteinuria, defined by an abnormally elevated concentration of proteins in the urine, serves as a critical biomarker for the early detection and diagnosis of preeclampsia. Elevated proteinuria levels adversely affect both maternal and foetal health, increasing the risk of preterm birth and low birth weight.

Proton Pump Inhibitor Use and Incident Epilepsy in the UK Biobank: Evidence From Pharmacovigilance and Multi‐Omics Analyses

Baseline PPI use was associated with a higher risk of incident epilepsy in 492,858 UK Biobank participants, with consistent evidence from active‐comparator and sensitivity analyses. FAERS, proteomic, and metabolomic findings provided complementary pharmacovigilance and molecular context, without establishing causality.
