Developing Spectrum-Based Models for International Roughness Index and Present Serviceability Index
Journal of Transportation Engineering, 2001This paper presents a theoretical model for determining international roughness index (IRI) and present serviceability index (PSI) in term of power spectral density (PSD) roughness. Frequency response functions of quarter-car model and CHOLE-type profilometer are obtained by means of stochastic process theory.

Non-additive fuzzy regression applied to establish flexible pavement present serviceability index [PDF]
The main objective of pavement management is to provide comfortable roads for the users. The present serviceability index (PSI) is established to determine the quality of the road. Present serviceability rating (PSR), rutting, roughness and pavement distress data, etc.

Relating Pavement Condition Index and Present Serviceability Rating for Asphalt-Surfaced Pavements
Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, 2019In response to the two latest transportation funding authorization bills, the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act and the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act, rules that require the reporting of specific pavement condition measures have been developed and encoded into federal regulation. Pavement performance rules published to the

Vehicle-road interaction, evolution of road profiles and present serviceability index
Road Materials and Pavement Design, 2000ABSTRACT Starting with a 2-dimensinonal model for a road structure, we derive the expressions for the dynamic strain, stress, and displacement in the road structure by considering together pavement material properties, truck dynamic characteristics, and road surface profile characteristics in a unified framework.
