Blow-up and global solutions to L^p norm preserving non-local flows [PDF]
In this paper, we study global existence and blow up properties to $L^p$ norm preserving non-local heat flows. We first study two kinds of $L^p$ norm preserving non-local flows and prove that these flows have the global solutions. Finally, we give a example to show that one kind of this heat flow may blow up in $L^{\infty}$ norm though its $L^p$ norm ...

LHCPs are transported to the thylakoid membrane via the (cp)SRP pathway. This process involves a transit complex of (cp)SRP43, (cp)SRP54 and LHCP, which interacts with (cp)FtsY and Alb3 at the membrane. GTP hydrolysis by (cp)SRP54 and (cp)FtsY triggers complex dissociation.

Volume-preserving exponential integrators [PDF]
As is known that various dynamical systems including all Hamiltonian systems preserve volume in phase space. This qualitative geometrical property of the analytical solution should be respected in the sense of Geometric Integration. This paper analyses the volume-preserving property of exponential integrators in different vector fields.

Preservation of log-Hölder coefficients of the vorticity in the transport equation [PDF]
We show that the log-H\"{o}lder coefficients of a solution to the transport equation is preserved in time.

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) accounts for half of the heart failure cases. It is characterised by microvascular dysfunction, associated with reduced pericyte coverage and diminished STAT3 expression in pericytes. Loss of STAT3 impairs pericyte adhesion, promotes senescence, and activates a pro‐fibrotic gene program.

Introduction. This work focuses on ammonia metabolism of Liver Microorgans (LMOs) after cold preservation in a normothermic reoxygenation system (NRS). We have previously reported the development of a novel preservation solution, Bes-Gluconate-PEG 35 kDa

Bound-preserving discontinuous Galerkin methods with modified Patankar time integrations for chemical reacting flows [PDF]
In this paper, we develop bound-preserving discontinuous Galerkin (DG) methods for chemical reactive flows. There are several difficulties in constructing suitable numerical schemes. First of all, the density and internal energy are positive, and the mass fraction of each species is between 0 and 1.

We achieved cytoplasmic delivery of non‐cell‐penetrating IgGs by grafting a single functional complementarity‐determining region 1 (CDR1) from the light chain variable region (VL) of the cell‐internalizable 3D8 antibody. The engineered IgG acquired cell‐penetrating ability while maintaining antigen affinity, highlighting CDR1 grafting as a promising ...

We have reported of an alternative solution to preserve hepatocytes that have three key components: gluconate, sucrose and an aminosulfonic acid (BGS solution). In order to extend the use of this solution to organs as the liver, we evaluate the effect of

Energy-preserving continuous-stage Runge-Kutta-Nyström methods [PDF]
Many practical problems can be described by second-order system $\ddot{q}=-M\nabla U(q)$, in which people give special emphasis to some invariants with explicit physical meaning, such as energy, momentum, angular momentum, etc. However, conventional numerical integrators for such systems will fail to preserve any of these quantities which may lead to ...
