A Thermography-based Online Control Method for Press Hardening

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2021
Abstract The aim of this work is to investigate a simple on-line control methodology applicable to press hardening. Short production runs were performed in a laboratory plant, using a pyrometer to measure sheet and die temperatures with varying processing conditions.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Toward Holistic Digital Material Description During Press-Hardening

open access: yes, 2023
AbstractPress hardening of manganese-boron steels is one of the most widely used production processes for high-strength automotive components. The low residual formability of these parts is a decisive disadvantage. The low formability originates from a strong, but brittle martensitic microstructure transformed during quenching in the press-hardening ...

Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

RESEARCH ON INCREASING ACTIVE LIFE OF CUTTING TOOLS [PDF]

open access: yesFiabilitate şi Durabilitate, 2012
At the exploitation of dies the defections that occur, due mainly to non operating rules of exploration, the improperly conditions of the machine (press) in terms of cinematic precision and the wearing elements in relative motion (ram displacement ...

Effect of ball milling time on microstructure and mechanical properties of ultrafine- grained Mg-3Al-Zn alloy prepared by powder metallurgy

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2020
The ultrafine-grained Mg-3Al-Zn alloy was prepared by high energy ball milling, cold vacuum press and warm extrusion. The influence of ball milling time on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy was studied. The results show that Al and

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...
