B cells sense external mechanical forces and convert them into biochemical signals through mechanotransduction. Understanding how malignant B cells respond to physical stimuli represents a groundbreaking area of research. This review examines the key mechano‐related molecules and pathways in B lymphocytes, highlights the most relevant techniques to ...

Pressure stabilizes ferrous iron in bridgmanite under hydrous deep lower mantle conditions
Earth’s lower mantle is a potential water reservoir. The physical and chemical properties of the region are in part controlled by the Fe3+/ΣFe ratio and total iron content in bridgmanite.

High Pressure Effects on Thermal Properties of MgO [PDF]
Using the non-empirical Variational Induced Breathing (VIB) model, the thermal properties of periclase (MgO) under high pressures and temperatures are investigated using molecular dynamics, which includes all anharmonic effects. Equations of state for temperatures up to 3000K and pressures up to 310 GPa were calculated.

Urine is a rich source of biomarkers for cancer detection. Tumor‐derived material is released into the bloodstream and transported to the urine. Urine can easily be collected from individuals, allowing non‐invasive cancer detection. This review discusses the rationale behind urine‐based cancer detection and its potential for cancer diagnostics ...

Inter-rater reliability of the EPUAP pressure ulcer classification system using photographs [PDF]
Background. Many classification systems for grading pressure ulcers are discussed in the literature. Correct identification and classification of a pressure ulcer is important for accurate reporting of the magnitude of the problem, and for timely ...
