Flow Pulsation Characteristic of External Gear Pump and Analysis of Influencing Factor

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2020
Based on the bench test of oil pump, the influence of pump outlet pressure on flow pulsation of external gear oil pump is analyzed. The results show that the flow pulsation coefficient of the oil pump decreased with the increase of pump outlet pressure ...

Driving pulsation analysis of electro-hydraulic robot

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2020
The hydraulic driving source plays an important role in the performance of the electro-hydraulic robot. In this paper, the Lumped parameter method is used to establish the pressure-flow characteristic model of the constant pressure variable pump of a 6 ...

Pressure Pulsation of High Consistency Machine Screening

open access: yes, 2023
Pressure fluctuation on headbox slice flow causes basis weight variation in machine direction and quality issues to end product. Machine screen is a typical source of short-term and recurring pressure fluctuation and pulsation.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Semi-active accumulator absorbing pressure pulsation in high-pressure water-jet propulsion system

open access: yes, 2011
Large-capacity and high-pressure plunger water-pump is often used as power supply in high-pressure water-jet propulsion system (HWPS). Generally, the flow pulsation and pressure pulsation generated in the working process of HWPS is absorbed by a passive

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Research on non-uniform pressure pulsation of the diffuser in a nuclear reactor coolant pump

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology, 2021
The nuclear reactor coolant pump transferring heat energy inherently brings with it the unsteady flow and inevitably threatens to the safe operation of the pump unit, especially with the pressure pulsation induced by the rotor-stator interaction. In this

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
