CroSR391 , an ortholog of the λ Cro repressor, plays a major role in suppressing polVR391 -dependent mutagenesis. [PDF]

open access: yesMol Microbiol, 2021
When subcloned from R391 into low‐copy‐number expression vectors, polVR391 (RumA′2B) encoded by rumAB, is a potent mutator giving rise to high levels of spontaneous mutagenesis in vivo. This is in contrast to the poorly mutable phenotype when polVR391 is expressed from the native R391.

Populism, financial crises and banking policies: Economics and psychology

open access: yesScottish Journal of Political Economy, Volume 69, Issue 4, Page 441-464, September 2022., 2022
Abstract Financial crises often seem to be associated with populism, although the populist banking policies introduced to address such crises are far from homogenous. This apparent paradox—a sort of “sight‐unseen consensus”—suggests that specific economic drivers coupled with general psychological components can explain populist consensus. We propose a

[Retracted] Intelligent Optimization Design of Automatic Sorting Robot Process

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In order to further improve the efficiency of sorting robots, an algorithm based on artificial intelligence design is evaluated. On the basis of determining the design requirements of belt conveyor and motor selection, the reverse device and return device and camera bracket sorting car are redesigned, and the sorting car is further analyzed by finite ...

A Scalable Blockchain‐Based Integrity Verification Scheme

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Ensuring the integrity of remote data is the prerequisite for implementing cloud‐edge computing. Traditional data integrity verification schemes make users spend a lot of time regularly checking their data, which is not suitable for large‐scale IoT (Internet of Things) data.

PRFC A New Programmable Router Architecture Providing Flexible Customization for Service [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Mechatronics and Industrial Informatics, 2015
The current routing mechanism is more and more difficult to satisfy the various service demands due to the rigid structure and simple ability. Aimed at this problem, this paper proposes a new programmable router architecture to support diverse applications and emerging communication paradigms—PRFC.

Transcriptomic Response in Pseudomonas aeruginosa towards Treatment with a Kaempferol Isolated from Melastoma malabathricum Linn Leaves

open access: yesInternational Journal of Microbiology, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the main causes of nosocomial infections and is frequently associated with opportunistic infections among hospitalized patients. Kaempferol‐3‐O‐(2′,6′‐di‐O-trans‐p-coumaroyl)‐β‐D glucopyranoside (KF) is an antipseudomonal compound isolated from the leaves of the native medicinal plant Melastoma malabathricum. Herein, an

Pathogenic Characteristics of Shrimp Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS)-Causing Vibrio parahaemolyticus: A Comparative Transcriptomic Study Suggests the Relationship Between Metabolic Fitness and Virulence Gene Expression. [PDF]

open access: yesEnviron Microbiol Rep
To understand the disease‐causing characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in shrimp EMS, this comparative gene expression study analysed pathogenic (AHPND 5HP and non‐AHPND 2HP) and non‐pathogenic (S02) strains. Pathogenic strains shared similar expression profiles, distinct from the non‐pathogen.
