Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Severe Dietary Energy Restriction for Compensated Cirrhosis Due to Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease: A Randomised Controlled Trial

open access: yesJournal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle
Background Compensated cirrhosis due to metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (CC‐MASLD) increases morbidity and mortality risk but has no aetiology‐specific treatment.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Quasi-resonant converter with divided resonant capacitor on primary and secondary side

open access: yesINTELEC 2009 - 31st International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 2009
This paper presents a quasi-resonant converter with divided resonant capacitor on primary and secondary side of the isolation transformer. A conventional quasi-resonant converter using flyback topology can realize soft switching with simple circuit. However, relatively large surge voltage is generated in the switching device.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

NONLINEAR PRIMARY RESONANCE OF A CIRCULAR SANDWICH PLATE UNDER STATIC LOAD

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2021
Based on Reissner’s sandwich plate theory, the nonlinear dynamic equations of the circular sandwich plate under static load are established by using the Hamilton principle.

Primary ovarian leiomyoma: Imaging in a rare entity

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2020
Primary ovarian leiomyoma is a very rare benign mesenchymal tumor arising from the smooth muscle of walls of ovarian blood vessels. It is usually seen between 20 65 years of age.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
