Resource Joint Allocation Based on Energy Efficiency in Cognitive Collaboration Radio Network [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
In the Cognitive Cooperative Radio Network(CCRN),when the secondary users blindly to participate in relay primary users, they will choose the primary users that is not conducive to energy efficiency of the system, thus reduces the overall energy efficiency

Users of Prescription Drugs in Finnish Primary Care

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Primary Health Care, 1988
This study investigates the users of prescription drugs in primary care in Finland in 1976. The data are derived from a national health interview survey, the sample of which represented the whole non-institutionalized population of Finland (N = 21,018).

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Thai family support (TFS) : working with families of young substance users in primary health care [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Living with substance users negatively impacts upon family members in many ways, and distress is common. Despite these deep and wide-ranging impacts, supportive interventions for family members in their own right are rarely available.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Improvements In Bearing Life Using New Sealing Technology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Lecturepg. 103As many as 91 percent of all rolling element bearings fail to achieve their calculated theoretical lifetimes. One of the primary reasons for this failure is contamination of the lubricants.

Performance Forecasting for Multi-Server Retrial Queue with Possibility of Processing Repetition and Server Reservation for Repeating Users

open access: yesStats
This study focuses on forecasting and optimizing the performance of a real-world object modelled by a multi-server queueing system that processes two types of users: primary (new) users and repeating users.
