Deep‐Learning‐Based Denoising for Improved Phase Precision in Electron Holography of Electromagnetic Fields in Nanoscale Materials

Low‐dose electron holography is limited by shot noise, which buries weak phase signals. HoloDenoiser, a physics‐informed network that works simultaneously in the spatial and frequency domains, locates and protects the holographic sideband while suppressing noise in the hologram.

CDegSR, a new tool for imaging RNA at single molecule level in living cells was developed by researchers. Background noise was eliminated by protein engineering and making it degrade when not bound to its target. This allowed individual RNA molecules to be clearly imaged and tracked.

Solution‐Processed Multi‐Junction Optoelectronic Synapses for Mode‐Switchable SWIR Neuromorphic Vision Sensing

A novel bias‐programmable shortwave infrared (SWIR) vision sensor is developed using multi‐junction colloidal quantum dots (QDs). Under varying applied voltage, the back‐to‐back rectifying junctions effectively tune trapping centers to switch the device between high‐speed photodetector and persistent synapse modes.
