Prime (-1, 1) Rings with Idempotent [PDF]
Algebras of type \((\gamma,\delta)\)) were first defined by \textit{A. A. Albert} [Port. Math. 8, 23--36 (1949; Zbl 0033.15401)]. In a 1963 paper [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 14, 110--117 (1963; Zbl 0108.26101)] \textit{C. Maneri} showed that a simple \((-1,1)\) ring with a nontrivial idempotent and characteristic prime to 6 must be associative.

On purely-prime ideals with applications [PDF]
In this paper, new algebraic and topological results on purely-prime ideals of a commutative ring (pure spectrum) are obtained. Particularly, Grothendieck-type theorem is obtained which states that there is a canonical correspondence between the ...

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

On generalized homoderivations of prime rings
Let $\mathscr{A}$ be a ring with its center $\mathscr{Z}(\mathscr{A}).$ An additive mapping $\xi\colon \mathscr{A}\to \mathscr{A}$ is called a homoderivation on $\mathscr{A}$ if $\forall\ a,b\in \mathscr{A}\colon\quad \xi(ab)=\xi(a)\xi(b)+\xi(a)b+a\xi(

ENDOMORPHISM RINGS OF MODULES OVER PRIME RINGS
Endomorphism rings of modules appear as the center of a ring, as the fix ring of ring with group action or as the subring of constants of a derivation. This note discusses the question whether certain *-prime modules (introduced by Bican et al.) have a prime endomorphism ring.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Integration of circadian and hypoxia signaling via non‐canonical heterodimerization
CLOCK, BMAL1, and HIFs are basic helix‐loop‐helix and Per‐Arnt‐Sim domain (bHLH‐PAS) proteins, which function as transcription factors. bHLH‐PAS proteins are designated in two classes. Many class I proteins are regulated by environmental signals via their PAS domains, but such signals have not been identified for all.

Dependent Automorphisms in Prime Rings [PDF]
AbstractFor each n ≥ 4 we construct a class of examples of a minimal C dependent set of n automorphisms of a prime ring R, where C is the extended centroid of R. For n = 4 and n = 5 it is shown that the preceding examples are completely general, whereas for n = 6 an example is given which fails to enjoy any of the nice properties of the above example.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.
