Codegrees of primitive characters of solvable groups
We obtain the codegree of a certain primitive character for a finite solvable group, and thereby give a negative answer to a question proposed by Moretó in \cite{Moreto}.

Some Questions on the Ideal Class Group of Imaginary Abelian Fields
Let k be an imaginary quadratic field. Assume that the class number of k is exactly an odd prime number p, and p splits into two distinct primes in k. Then it is known that a prime ideal lying above p is not principal.

Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry show that MoS2‐bulk undergoes solvent co‐intercalation in diglyme electrolyte, causing large structural expansion, while pillared, expanded MoS2 suppresses solvent uptake

Revision of the fossil batomorphs from the Cretaceous of Lebanon, and their impact on our understanding of the early step of the evolution of the clade [PDF]
Lebanon is endowed with its outstanding preservation lagerstätten of fossil fish from the Upper Cretaceous. The batomorphs are represented by 16 species of Rajiformes belonging to 9 genera and 4 families however, their phylogeny remains poorly understood.

A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.

Bioacoustics of Sri Lankan Amphibians: a Review of Current Knowledge and Conservation Significance
Acoustic inventory of Sri Lankan amphibians is still in a primitive stage. So far, only 20 amphibian species are known acoustically and are about 16% of the island amphibian fauna.

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Primitive characters of odd order groups [PDF]
Let $G$ be a finite group of odd order. We show that if $χ$ is an irreducible primitive character of $G$ then for all primes $p$ dividing the order of $G$ there is a conjugacy class such that the $p-$part of $χ(1)$ divides the size of that conjugacy class.

Topics in computational group theory : primitive permutation groups and matrix group normalisers
Part I of this thesis presents methods for finding the primitive permutation groups of degree d, where 2500 ≤ d < 4096, using the O'Nan-Scott Theorem and Aschbacher's theorem. Tables of the groups G are given for each O'Nan-Scott class.

Spin and Charge Control of Topological End States in Chiral Graphene Nanoribbons on a 2D Ferromagnet
Chiral graphene nanoribbons on a ferromagnetic gadolinium‐gold surface alloy display tunable spin and charge states at their termini. Atomic work function variations and exchange fields enabe transitions between singlet, doublet, and triplet configurations.
