Central sets and substitutive dynamical systems [PDF]
In this paper we establish a new connection between central sets and the strong coincidence conjecture for fixed points of irreducible primitive substitutions of Pisot type.

Graph Logics with Rational Relations [PDF]
We investigate some basic questions about the interaction of regular and rational relations on words. The primary motivation comes from the study of logics for querying graph topology, which have recently found numerous applications.

Collections of parabolic orbits in homogeneous spaces, homogeneous dynamics and hyperkahler geometry
Let $M$ be a hyperk\"ahler manifold with $b_2(M)\geq 5$. We improve our earlier results on the Morrison-Kawamata cone conjecture by showing that the Beauville-Bogomolov square of the primitive MBM classes (i.e.

$\mathcal{S}$-adic characterization of minimal dendric shifts [PDF]
Dendric shifts are defined by combinatorial restrictions of the extensions of the words in their languages. This family generalizes well-known families of shifts such as Sturmian shifts, Arnoux-Rauzy shifts and codings of interval exchange ...

d-Primitive Words and D(1)-Concatenated Words
In this paper, we study d-primitive words and D(1)-concatenated words. First we show that neither D(1), the set of all d-primitive words, nor D(1)D(1), the set of all D(1)-concatenated words, is regular. Next we show that for u, v, w ∈ Σ+ with |u|=|w|, uvw ∈ D(1) if and only if uv+w ⊆ D(1).
