Chaotic intermittency with non-differentiable M(x) function
One-dimensional maps showing chaotic intermittency with discontinuous reinjection probability density functions are studied. For these maps, the reinjection mechanism possesses two different processes.

An Improved Variable Kernel Density Estimator Based on L2 Regularization
The nature of the kernel density estimator (KDE) is to find the underlying probability density function (p.d.f) for a given dataset. The key to training the KDE is to determine the optimal bandwidth or Parzen window.

On the Probability Density Functions and the Oscillations
Consider the functional differential equation (E) \(y'(t)+a(t)y(t)+p(t)y(\tau (t))=0\) where a,p\(\in C[T,\infty)\) and lim \(\tau\) (t)\(=+\infty\). The author presents two examples of this equation having respectively the Gaussian and Laplace distributions as solutions. He then gives two nonoscillation and oscillation theorems for (E).

Foundation of 2-Symbolic Plithogenic Maximum a Posteriori Estimation [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce and define for the first time the plithogenic loss function, plithogenic risk function, plithogenic maximum likelihood function, and plithogenic posterior risk function, which form a base to easily define the plithogenic ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

The probability density function of spectral correlation function estimates
Since published in 1988, the FFT Accumulation Method (FAM) has been used extensively to compute the Spectral Correlation Function (SCF) and the Spectral Coherence Function (SCoF) to obtain or detect cyclic features of cyclostationary signals.

Not All Probability Density Functions Are Tomograms
This paper delves into the significance of the tomographic probability density function (pdf) representation of quantum states, shedding light on the special classes of pdfs that can be tomograms. Instead of using wave functions or density operators on Hilbert spaces, tomograms, which are the true pdfs, are used to completely describe the states of ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
