Artificial Intelligence‐Assisted Workflow for Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AI‐Assisted Workflow for (Scanning) Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling. Abstract (Scanning) transmission electron microscopy ((S)TEM) has significantly advanced materials science but faces challenges in correlating precise atomic structure information with the functional properties of ...

Translation Complex rather than Translation Turns? Considering the Complexity of Translation

open access: yesSyn-Thèses, 2019
This paper argues that it might be more fruitful to consider translation as a complex phenomenon rather than considering it in terms of successive ‘turns’ over a period of time. It argues that even interlingual translation is both process and phenomenon,

Microscopic Insights into Magnetic Warping and Time‐Reversal Symmetry Breaking in Topological Surface States of Rare‐Earth‐Doped Bi2Te3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Designing with Protocells: Applications of a Novel Technical Platform

open access: yesLife, 2014
The paper offers a design perspective on protocell applications and presents original research that characterizes the life-like qualities of the Bütschli dynamic droplet system, as a particular “species” of protocell.

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

Barnehagepedagogikk og politikk som det å vise nomadisk venting

open access: yesNordic Studies in Education, 2020
This article is about immanent knowledge practices, non-linear pedagogies and/as policy. Voice is given to unconscious knowledge processes without removing the same processes from logical reasoning or justification.

Topology‐Orchestrated Multi‐physical Energy Control in Turtle Shell‐Inspired Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A turtle shell‐inspired lattice metamaterial efficiently manages acoustic, fluid‐thermal, and mechanical energy flows simultaneously. The unique hybrid‐coupling architecture achieves superior sound attenuation via pore‐cavity resonance, facilitates effective airflow transport, and maximizes mechanical energy absorption through multistage cell ...

Exploring the bioeconomy as discourse: identifying archetypical bioeconomy discourses and the emergence of a transformative bioeconomy

open access: yesEcology and Society
The bioeconomy is a major concept in both academic and policy debates, but what it actually means remains diverse across contexts. In this integrative literature review, I explore different onto-epistemological positions, societal relations to nature ...

Electrolyte Design for Fast‐Charging Lithium‐Based Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A decade of progress in fast‐charging electrolytes for lithium batteries is reviewed. Electrolyte design strategies spanning solvents, salts, additives, and advanced systems, such as localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs), are summarized. Advanced diagnostic tools for lithium plating and interphase chemistry are discussed, with perspectives ...

Literature as a Site of Speculative Thought: On Method and Encounter

open access: yesNesir: Edebiyat Araştırmaları Dergisi
This article develops a speculative approach to literature grounded in process philosophy, arguing that speculative thought is not an external interpretive framework applied to literary texts, but a mode of thinking that participates in the operative ...
