ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Evolution of branching processes in a random environment
This review paper presents the known results on the asymptotics of the survival probability and limit theorems conditioned on survival of critical and subcritical branching processes in independent and identically distributed random environments. This is

ON DOUBLE PERIODIC NON-HOMOGENEOUS POISSON PROCESSES [PDF]
Non-homogenous Poisson processes with periodic claim intensity rate are proposed as the claim counting process of risk theory. We introduce a doubly periodic Poisson model with short and long term trends, illustrated by a double-beta intensity function ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

The long time asymptotics of the time spent on the positive side are discussed for one-dimensional diffusion processes in random environments. The limiting distributions under the log-log scale are obtained for the diffusion processes in the stable ...

Moment properties for two-type continuous-state branching processes in random environments
We first derive the recurisions for integer moments of two-type continuous-state branching processes in L\'{e}vy random environments. Result shows that the $n$th moment of the process is a polynomial of the initial value of the process with at most $n ...
