Advanced Image Analytics for Mobile Robot-Based Condition Monitoring in Hazardous Environments: A Comprehensive Thermal Defect Processing Framework

open access: yesSensors
In hazardous environments like mining sites, mobile inspection robots play a crucial role in condition monitoring (CM) tasks, particularly by collecting various kinds of data, such as images.

The properties and extinction of the bisexual branching processes in random environments(随机环境中两性分枝过程的性质与灭绝条件)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2014
介绍了随机环境中的两性分枝过程,利用概率母函数之间的关系,推导出此类两性分枝过程的有关性质,同时给出了两类常见随机环境中两性分枝过程灭绝的充分条件.

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Large deviation results for branching processes in fixed and random environments

open access: yes, 1994
This thesis considers three different aspects of large deviations for branching processes. First, we study the deviation between the empirical mean and the true mean. Second, we investigate the large deviation behavior exhibited by the tail of the random

Learning in abstract memory schemes for dynamic optimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We investigate an abstraction based memory scheme for evolutionary algorithms in dynamic environments. In this scheme, the abstraction of good solutions (i.e., their approximate location in the search space) is stored in the memory instead of good ...

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
