Mapping the Information System Development Process [PDF]
Action research is used to gain understanding of how an IS development methodology emerges in practice and how it can contribute to value creation in organizations. The Multiview framework is used to guide the action research project. A graphical notation for mapping the unfolding of IS development projects is developed and applied to the project ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Effect of Er on the Hot Deformation Behavior of the Crossover Al3Zn3Mg3Cu0.2Zr Alloy
The effect of an erbium alloying on the hot deformation behavior of the crossover Al3Zn3Mg3Cu0.2Zr alloy was investigated in detail. First of all, Er increases the solidus temperature of the alloy. This allows hot deformation at a higher temperature. The

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Hot Deformation and Processing Maps of 7005 Aluminum Alloy
The deformation behavior of 7005 alloy was studied by hot compression tests. The processing map was constructed by superimposing the instability map over the power dissipation map at a strain of 0.7 using the corrected flow stress data to eliminate the ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...
