Results 61 to 70 of about 390,832 (276)
The study is based on a questionnaire sent to 5,000 randomly sampled persons representing the adult population in Finland. The results give a picture of the amounts of berries preserved for home use and the consumption patterns of berries and berry ...

A non-archimedean Ax-Lindemann theorem
We prove a statement of Ax-Lindemann type for the uniformization of products of Mumford curves whose associated fundamental groups are non-abelian Schottky subgroups of $\mathop{\rm PGL}(2,\bar{\mathbf Q_p})$ contained in $\mathop{\rm PGL}(2,\bar{\mathbf

Subgroups of free products with amalgamated subgroups: A topological approach [PDF]
The structure of an arbitrary subgroup of the limit of a group system is shown to be itself the limit of a group system, the elements of which can be described in terms of subgroups of the original group system.

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Conjugacy Separability of Some One-Relator Groups
Conjugacy separability of any group of the class of one-relator groups given by the presentation ⟨𝑎,𝑏;[𝑎𝑚,𝑏𝑛]=1⟩(𝑚,𝑛>1) is proven. The proof made used of theoretical combinatorial group methods, namely the structure of amalgamated free products and some ...

Free subgroups of free products and combinatorial hypermaps
We derive a generating series for the number of free subgroups of finite index in $\Delta^+ = \mathbb{Z}_p*\mathbb{Z}_q$ by using a connection between free subgroups of $\Delta^+$ and certain hypermaps (also known as ribbon graphs or "fat" graphs), and ...

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

Normal Subgroups of Groups which are Products of Two Abelian Subgroups [PDF]
It is shown that if a group G = A B G = AB , where A A and B B are Abelian subgroups of G , A ≠ B G,A \ne B , and either A A or B B satisfies the maximum condition, then there is a ...
