Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Prognosis in Pregnancy‐Related Cerebral Venous Thrombosis
ABSTRACT Objective Distinguishing pathological changes from physiological adaptations in pregnancy‐related cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is clinically challenging. This study aimed to characterize coagulation, immune‐inflammation, and dehydration status in these patients and assess their prognostic value.

[Initial evaluation of a prognostic nutritional index].
To detect mortality predicting parameters, a prospective study was done at Hospital Rawson (HR) and Hospital Aeronáutico (HA). 104 male and female patients (P) randomly selected were nutritionally evaluated on admission and weekly during one month. 35 healthy individuals were also studied as controls (C). Student's test, AOV and X2 were used.

Data‐Driven SuStaIn Model of Disability Progression in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objective To determine whether ordinal Subtype and Stage Inference (SuStaIn) applied to routine ALSFRS‐R item scores can identify reproducible disability progression patterns in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and provide clinically meaningful staging.

Preoperative nutritional scores to predict mortality after liver transplantation: a retrospective cohort study [PDF]
Background Malnutrition is a well-known risk factor for mortality and morbidity. We investigated whether preoperative malnutrition, diagnosed using an objective nutritional index, was associated with postoperative mortality in patients undergoing liver ...

ABSTRACT Background Dysregulated lipid metabolism, which can affect remyelination and neural repair, has not been extensively investigated in progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS). The goal was to examine whether dysregulated cholesterol metabolism was associated with disability in PMS. Methods The study sample comprised 53 Severe PMS patients (Expanded
