Projected and Near-Projected Embeddings [PDF]
A stable smooth map $f:N\to M$ is called "$k$-realizable" if its composition with the inclusion $M\subset M\times\Bbb R^k$ is $C^0$-approximable by smooth embeddings; and a "$k$-prem" if the same composition is $C^\infty$-approximable by smooth embeddings, or equivalently if $f$ lifts vertically to a smooth embedding $N\to M\times\Bbb R^k$.

ON PROJECTIONS IN PROJECTIVE SPACES

IDEAL PROJECTIONS AND FORCING PROJECTIONS
AbstractIt is well known that saturation of ideals is closely related to the “antichain-catching” phenomenon from Foreman–Magidor–Shelah [10]. We consider several antichain-catching properties that are weaker than saturation, and prove:(1)If${\cal I}$is a normal ideal on$\omega _2 $which satisfiesstationary antichain catching, then there is an inner ...

Projects, Project Capabilities and Project Organizations [PDF]
This chapter clarifies our understanding of the project-based firm (PBF) by sharpening the theoretical foundations of project capabilities. It emphasizes the differences between project capabilities that eliminate variance in project outcomes (to control costs and add value) and economies of scale that reduce costs across multiple projects.

Projective Connections and Projective Transformations [PDF]
The main purpose of the present paper is to establish a theorem concerning the relation between the group of all projective transformations on an affinely connected manifold and the group of all affine transformations.

This research paper is devoted to a direct approach based on cooperative game theory to analyze the allocation issues in delayed project situations, completed with the examination of the opposite setting where the activities may be expedited but not delayed and their combination.

Projection in Interaction and Projection in Grammar [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper, I argue that there are fundamental common features shared by interaction and grammar that suggest some kind of interdependence between the two and a nonautonomy of the language faculty; one of these fundamental common features is that of ‘projectability’.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...
