Positive geometries and differential forms with non-logarithmic singularities. Part I

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Positive geometries encode the physics of scattering amplitudes in flat space- time and the wavefunction of the universe in cosmology for a large class of models.

Projective differential geometry and asymptotic analysis in General Relativity [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
In this text, we explore the tools that Projective Differential Geometry can provide for the asymptotic analysis of classical fields on projectively compact manifolds. We emphasise on the case of order 2-compactifications and develop, in this case, a projective exterior differential tractor calculus that is analogous to that existing for conformally ...

Classification of 1st order symplectic spinor operators over contact projective geometries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We give a classification of $1^{st}$ order invariant differential operators acting between sections of certain bundles associated to Cartan geometries of the so called metaplectic contact projective type. These bundles are associated via representations,

Differential Geometry of Submanifolds of Projective Space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
These are lecture notes on the rigidity of submanifolds of projective space "resembling" compact Hermitian symmetric spaces in their homogeneous embeddings. Recent results are surveyed, along with their classical predecessors. The notes include an introduction to moving frames in projective geometry, an exposition of the Hwang-Yamaguchi ridgidity ...

Practical challenges in data‐driven interpolation: Dealing with noise, enforcing stability, and computing realizations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView., 2023
Summary In this contribution, we propose a detailed study of interpolation‐based data‐driven methods that are of relevance in the model reduction and also in the systems and control communities. The data are given by samples of the transfer function of the underlying (unknown) model, that is, we analyze frequency‐response data.

Harmonic maps in unfashionable geometries

open access: yes, 2001
We describe some general constructions on a real smooth projective 4-quadric which provide analogues of the Willmore functional and conformal Gauss map in both Lie sphere and projective differential geometry.

Functional variation among LPMOs revealed by the inhibitory effects of cyanide and buffer ions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study addresses the inhibition of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) by cyanide and explains how and why the magnitude of observed inhibitory effects depends on the way LPMO reactions are setup and on the type of LPMO. Enzymes known as lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) are mono‐copper polysaccharide‐degrading peroxygenases that ...

Holonomy reductions of Cartan geometries and curved orbit decompositions

open access: yes, 2014
We develop a holonomy reduction procedure for general Cartan geometries. We show that, given a reduction of holonomy, the underlying manifold naturally decomposes into a disjoint union of initial submanifolds.
