Branched Projective Structures and Bundles of Projective Frames on Surfaces

open access: yes, 2023
We show that the description of the holomorphic $\mathbb C \mathrm P^1$-bundle associated to a holomorphic projective structure on a Riemann surface in terms of the principal bundle of projective $2$-frames extends very well to the setting of branched ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

THE PROJECTIVE DIMENSION OF THE EDGE IDEAL OF A VERY WELL-COVERED GRAPH

open access: yes, 2017
A very well-covered graph is an unmixed graph whose covering number is half of the number of vertices. We construct an explicit minimal free resolution of the cover ideal of a Cohen–Macaulay very well-covered graph. Using this resolution, we characterize

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

Oriented Rank Three Matroids And Projective Planes

open access: yes, 1996
... In this paper, we will also consider embeddings of oriented rank three matroids into topological projective planes, but we will take a quite different viewpoint: We shall show, that there exists a projective plane P that contains the combinatorial ...

Simple-Direct-Projective Modules

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we introduce and study the dual notion of simple-direct-injective modules. Namely, a right R-module M is called simple-direct-projective if, whenever A and B are submodules of M with B simple and M/AB(circle plus)M, then A(circle plus)M ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
