Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Flying Target Detection Technology Based on GNSS Multipath Signals
In this study, a passive radar system that detects flying targets is developed in order to solve the problems associated with traditional flying target detection systems (i.e., their large size, high power consumption, complex systems, and poor ...

Propagated infra-slow intrinsic brain activity reorganizes across wake and slow wave sleep [PDF]
Propagation of slow intrinsic brain activity has been widely observed in electrophysiogical studies of slow wave sleep (SWS). However, in human resting state fMRI (rs-fMRI), intrinsic activity has been understood predominantly in terms of zero-lag ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Determining Wind Shear Threshold by Using Historical Sounding Data in Experimental Area
This paper conducts a technical study on a method for determining the occurrence threshold of wind shear based on historical sounding data. After analyzing the impact of low-altitude wind shear on aircraft flight safety, a method for determining the ...

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

PAINLEV´E TEST OF A MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMICS SYSTEM [PDF]
One approximation of magnetohydrodynamics equations, which describe the cosmic object’s magnetic field, is considered. The analytic properties of a nonlinear system are investigated by Painlev´e test.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.
