The gluon propagator [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Reports, 1999
We discuss the current state of what is known non-perturbatively about the gluon propagator in QCD, with emphasis on the information coming from lattice simulations. We review the specification of the lattice Landau gauge and the procedure for calculating the gluon propagator on the lattice.

Evaluating the involvement of autolysosomes in the nuclear translocation of fluorescent proteins

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Endogenously expressed fluorescent proteins can be degraded by autophagy and transported to cell nuclei via the nuclear pore complex. But in some cell lines, for example, HeLa cells which are positive for immunoreactivity of a receptor ligand, such as UCN I, in cell nuclei, fusion of autolysosome with the nuclear envelope is involved in the nuclear ...

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Parameter Estimation of Ionospheric Echo Signals Using an Electromagnetic Vector Array

open access: yesIEEE Access
With the use of the non-stationarity and waveform information of the ionospheric echo signals, an approach to the joint estimation of angles and polarization states is proposed by using an array of electromagnetic vector antennas.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

A Prospective Study of Individuals at Risk of Multiple Sclerosis Informs the Design of Primary Prevention Studies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective In multiple sclerosis, the optimal time for deploying a therapeutic intervention is before the central nervous system is damaged; given the success of trials treating the earliest stage of MS, the radiologically isolated syndrome, developing primary prevention strategies is an important next challenge.
