A new family of optically active 2,3-dihydrobenzofurans has been prepared by a simple chemoenzymatic asymmetric strategy. This synthetic approach is based on the combination of a lipase-mediated kinetic resolution of 1-aryl-2-propanols or bioreduction of

By leveraging this homodimerization mechanism, molecular glues were rationally designed to induce dysfunctional 3A dimerization, thereby restoring antiviral RNAi. The optimal molecular glue, VTP‐32, demonstrated potent and pan‐enterovirus (groups A, B, D) antiviral effects.

7-(3-Substituted amino-2-hydroxypropyl)-8-hydroxymethyltheophyllines
N-Substituted derivatives of 7-(3-amino-2-hydroxypropyl)-8-hydroxymethyltheophylline II were prepared by addition of the respective amines to 7-epoxypropyl-8-hydroxymethyltheophylline (I) and alternatively, by alkylation of the potassium salt of 8 ...

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

Synthesis of substituted tetrahydro-1,3-oxazines
A number of mono-, di-, tri-, and tetrasubstituted tetrahydro-1,3-oxazines were synthesized by the reaction of 3-amino- and 3-methylamino-1-propanols with aldehydes.

A BCP‐derived buried‐interface strategy establishes Na‐BCS as a chemically bonded molecular bridge. By combining sulfonate anchoring to SnO2 with preserved BCP–Pb2+ coordination, Na‐BCS simultaneously passivates oxide‐ and perovskite‐side defects, suppresses non‐radiative recombination, and delivers a surface recombination velocity of 8.6 cm s−1, a ...

A photocatalytic approach for efficient one‐pot direct lignin depolymerization and subsequent cross‐coupling with alcohols for the production of unsymmetrical aromatic diols has been demonstrated. ABSTRACT Conversion of lignin into chemical products typically involves two separate steps, such as depolymerization and subsequent upgrading of monomers ...

The CuAg@MSN catalyst developed in this study promotes C─C coupling by regulating the coverage of *CO intermediates through spatial confinement effects, significantly enhancing the selectivity of CO2 electroreduction for C2 product formation. ABSTRACT Tandem catalysts represent a promising paradigm for synergistic electrochemical CO2 reduction (CO2RR ...
