Advances in Solution‐Processed Textile Triboelectric Nanogenerators: Ink Formation, Processing Strategies, Applications, and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Advanced ink systems for solution‐processed textile triboelectric nanogenerators are systematically summarized, spanning conductive, tribo‐negative, and tribo‐positive layers. By connecting ink chemistry, deposition methods, and device function, the present review reveals the key governing principles of solution development and highlights practical ...

H Atom Attack on Propene

open access: yes, 2016
The reaction of propene (CH3CHCH2) with hydrogen atoms has been investigated in a heated single-pulsed shock tube at temperatures between 902 and 1200 K and pressures of 1.5−3.4 bar.

Acetoacetates Derived From Vegetable Oils: A Platform for Tailor‐Made Vinylogous Urethane Foams

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A renewable vegetable oil is converted into acetoacetate‐functionalized precursors for the preparation of catalyst‐free vinylogous urethane foams. Room‐temperature foaming with n‐pentane generates lightweight cellular materials, while the choice of amine enables control over foam structure and mechanical properties.

Conformer-specific polar cycloaddition of dibromobutadiene with trapped propene ions

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Identifying a concerted or stepwise mechanism in Diels–Alder reactions is experimentally challenging. Here the authors demonstrate the coexistence of both mechanisms in the reaction of 2,3-dibromobuta-1,3-diene with propene ions, using a conformationally

Switching off propene hydrogenation in the direct epoxidation of propene over gold-titania catalysts

open access: yes, 2012
Low gold-loaded gold–titanium catalysts with very small gold nanoparticles for the direct epoxidation of propene have a remarkably high epoxidation activity. A disadvantage, however, is that these catalysts in certain cases also have a very high activity

Photo‐Degradable Polyester Networks and Multi‐Photon Printed Objects Based on Cyclic Ketene Acetals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The current work introduces a photoreversible polyester network derived from radical ring‐opening polymerization of cyclic ketene acetals. It combines photoreversible cross‐linking with initiator‐free multi‐photon printing. Reversible network formation, tunable mechanical properties, and selective degradation highlight its potential as a versatile ...

Modelling the Breakthrough Curves Obtained from the Adsorption of Propene onto Microporous Inorganic Solids

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2010
The modelling of breakthrough curves obtained in the adsorption of propene as a model compound onto different inorganic solids is described. All the runs were performed in a fixed bed at atmospheric pressure, employing a process temperature of 30 °C and ...

Separation of Sensitivity Contributions in Tin Oxide Thick Film Sensors by Transmission Line Model Measurements at Isothermal and Thermally Modulated Operation

open access: yesProceedings, 2017
Transmission line modelling (TLM) techniques were used to study the sensitivity behaviour to CO and propene in distinct regions of tin oxide thick film gas sensors operated in isothermal and thermo-cyclic mode.
