Hopping‐Mediated Zero‐Bias Photocharge Retention in Solution‐Processed Van Der Waals Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid–liquid interface assembly enables the fabrication of solution‐processed MoS2 and WSe2 centimeter‐scale, nanometer‐thick type‐II heterostructures on paper. Interfacial charge separation and hopping‐limited recombination produce rectification and persistent photocharge retention at zero bias.

Exploration of ZnO-Doped Nitrogen-Carbon Materials Derived from Polyamide-Imide for Propane Dehydrogenation

open access: yesInorganics
A series of ZnO-doped nitrogen-carbon materials (xZnO-N-C) with ZnO contents of 5–40% are prepared by a vacuum curing–carbonization strategy using polyamide-imide as the N-C source and zinc nitrate as the metal source for propane dehydrogenation (PDH ...

Selective Cracking of Light Olefins to Ethene and Propene

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2017
Catalytic cracking of olefins is becoming a more crucial process to produce valuable platform chemicals in the chemical industry such as ethane and propene. Steam cracking and fluid catalytic cracking can no longer meet the required demand of propene and

Palladium(0) Complexes with Unsymmetric Bidentate Nitrogen Ligands for the Stereoselective Hydrogenation of 1-Phenyl-1-propyne to (Z)-1-Phenyl-1-propene

open access: yes, 2016
A series of zerovalent palladium complexes Pd(NN)(alkene) of bi- or tridentate nitrogen ligands of the general formula 6-R‘ ‘-C5H3N-(C(R‘)NR)-2 (R‘ ‘ = H, Me, CHNR‘; R‘ = H, Me; R = alkyl, aryl, or amino group) and dimethylfumarate (dmfu) have been ...

3D‐Printed Gradient Shape‐Memory Strain Sensors With Rewritable Gauge Factors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed shape‐memory strain sensor combines thermomechanical programming with gradient architectural design. Preset strain rewrites the gauge factor (GF), while the gradient geometry amplifies the response through strain redistribution. Reprogrammable sensitivity enables the same sensor to detect weak pulse signals and monitor large‐amplitude ...

Relationship between hydrothermal temperatures and structural properties of CeO2 and enhanced catalytic activity of propene/toluene/CO oxidation by Au/CeO2 catalysts

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2022
A simple hydrothermal synthesis of CeO2 was implemented to obtain a series of CeO2-supported gold (Au) catalysts, used for the total oxidation of propene/toluene/CO gas mixtures and the oxidation of CO.

Water‐Activated Phospholipid Phase‐Separation Gel as an Immunomodulatory Anti‐Adhesion Barrier for Postoperative Adhesion Prevention

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A water‐activated phospholipid phase‐separation gel is repurposed as a drug‐free surgical barrier for postoperative adhesion prevention. Propylene glycol promotes rapid lamellar gel reinforcement, prolonged local retention, and tissue coverage, while phosphatidylcholine‐mediated immunomodulation suppresses inflammatory and fibrotic responses. This dual‐

Structure and properties of molybdenum oxide nitrides as model systems for selective oxidation catalysts

open access: yesChemistry Central Journal, 2011
Molybdenum oxide nitride (denoted as Mo(O,N)3) was obtained by ammonolysis of α-MoO3 with gaseous ammonia. Electronic and geometric structure, reducibility, and conductivity of Mo(O,N)3 were investigated by XRD, XAS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and impedance ...

Investigation of Non-Methane Hydrocarbons at a Central Adriatic Marine Site Mali Lošinj, Croatia

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2020
For the first time, volatile hydrocarbons were measured in Croatia, at Mali Lošinj in the period from autumn 2004 to autumn 2005. Mali Lošinj site is conveniently located as a gateway to Croatia for any potential pollution from either Po valley in Italy,

High‐Entropy Ceramic‐Enhanced Deformable Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Noncontact Biomechanical and Raindrop Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A large‐area, deformable high‐entropy‐ceramic (HEC)‐doped triboelectric nanogenerator with a trilayer architecture is developed, consisting of an HEC‐doped triboelectric layer, a graphite‐like textile charge‐storage layer, and stretchable carbon black electrodes.
