Tumor‐Derived Prostaglandin E2 Promotes Colorectal Cancer Progression by Inducing N2‐Type TAN Polarization

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 1, Page 19-32, January 2026.
We demonstrated that PGE2 released from LDs in CRC cells plays important roles in N2‐type TANs polarization. PGE2 enters neutrophils through its receptor EP2/EP4 to stimulate ROS‐mediated FOXO3a methylation, thereby increasing the polarization of N2‐type TANs.

Expanding the Immunologic and Neuronal Landscape of IgE‐Mediated Anaphylaxis

open access: yesImmunological Reviews, Volume 337, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Anaphylaxis is a life‐threatening immunoglobulin E (IgE)‐mediated type I hypersensitivity reaction with rising prevalence and burden. It involves mast cell degranulation upon cross‐linking of antigen on mast cell‐bound IgE. Mechanisms of IgE‐mediated anaphylaxis remain incompletely understood, particularly the induction of systemic symptoms ...

Sex in Immune Cells and Parasitic Diseases — A Complex Relationship

open access: yesImmunological Reviews, Volume 337, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Epidemiological studies consistently show that many parasitic diseases affect males more frequently than females. These disparities are multifactorial, arising partly from gender‐specific behaviors that influence exposure risk and health‐seeking practices, especially in low‐ and middle‐income countries. Increasing evidence also highlights that

Quercetin Alleviates Osteoarthritis Pain by Inhibiting Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A Through Regulating cGAS/STING Pathway

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Knee osteoarthritis (KOA), a common degenerative joint disease marked by pain, inflammation and cartilage degradation, has been increasingly associated with dysregulated innate immune signalling. Among the implicated molecular pathways, cGAS/STING has emerged as a key modulator in both disease pathogenesis and therapeutic intervention ...
