Quantum Certificate Complexity [PDF]
Given a Boolean function f, we study two natural generalizations of the certificate complexity C(f): the randomized certificate complexity RC(f) and the quantum certificate complexity QC(f). Using Ambainis' adversary method, we exactly characterize QC(f) as the square root of RC(f). We then use this result to prove the new relation R0(f) = O(Q2(f)^2 Q0(

Objectives Chondrocyte metabolic dysfunction plays an important role in osteoarthritis (OA) development during aging and obesity. Protein post‐translational modifications (PTMs) have recently emerged as an important regulator of cellular metabolism. We aim to study one type of PTM, lysine malonylation (MaK) and its regulator Sirt5 in OA development ...

The effects of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals on ovarian‐ and ovulation‐related fertility outcomes
Abstract Exposure to endocrine‐disrupting chemicals (EDCs) is unavoidable, which represents a public health concern given the ability of EDCs to target the ovary. However, there is a large gap in the knowledge about the impact of EDCs on ovarian function, including the process of ovulation.

Invariants of plane curve singularities and Plücker formulas in positive characteristic [PDF]
We study classical invariants for plane curve singularities $f\in K[[x,y]]$, $K$ an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p\geq 0$: Milnor number, delta invariant, kappa invariant and multiplicity. It is known, in characteristic zero, that $\mu(f)=2\delta(f)-r(f)+1$ and that $\kappa(f)=2\delta(f)-r(f)+\mathrm{mt}(f)$.

Formule de Plancherel sur $GL_n \times GL_n \backslash GL_{2n}$ [PDF]
Let $F$ be a non archimedian local field and $H_n(F)$ the Shalika subgroup of $GL_{2n}(F)$. We prove an explicit Plancherel formula for $H_n(F) \backslash GL_{2n}(F)$ using the theory of Jacquet-Shalika of zeta functions and we deduce Plancherel decompositions for $H_n(F) \backslash GL_{2n}(F)$ and $GL_{n}(F) \times GL_{n}(F) \backslash GL_{2n}(F)$.

F(2)-isoprostanes are recently described prostaglandin F isomers produced by cyclooxygenase-independent free radical peroxidation of arachidonic acid. Their quantification in plasma and urine is a sensitive and specific indicator of lipid peroxidation ...
