Permission to Rise: Self‐Permission and Career Resilience for Women
ABSTRACT Women remain underrepresented in leadership and are more likely than men to reduce their workforce participation or step back from their careers, particularly when navigating caregiving responsibilities. Although these aggregate gender differences motivate the present study, our goal is not to explain differences between women and men directly.

ABSTRACT In 1977, an Israeli transgender woman, Judy Spotheim, published an autobiographical novel entitled The Cut. It describes the emergence of a trans community in the commercial‐sex areas of Tel Aviv‐Jaffa, hoping to humanise trans women (coccinelles). This article is the first to study the novel and present a biography of Spotheim.
