Tryptophan metabolite Indole‐3‐aldehyde (I3A) downregulates cytosolic AhR and p‐ERK/c‐MYC proteins, together enhancing STAT3 phosphorylation and tumor immunogenicity. Overexpression of the Trp metabolic enzyme interleukin‐4‐induced gene‐1 (IL4I1) in tumor cells increases intracellular levels of I3A and enhances tumor immunogenicity.

In this study, Acod1 knockout in CLP mice significantly increases peripheral blood NET levels, exacerbating inflammation, organ damage, and reducing survival. Further research shows that UBR5 interacts with PAD4, a key NET formation protein. Acod1/itaconate (ITA) enhances the enzymatic activity of UBR5 by alkylating the Cys2768 site, promoting the K48 ...

Proteasome Lid Bridges Mitochondrial Stress with Cdc53/Cullin1 NEDDylation Status [PDF]
Cycles of Cdc53/Cullin1 rubylation (a.k.a NEDDylation) protect ubiquitin-E3 SCF (Skp1-Cullin1-F-box protein) complexes from self-destruction and play an important role in mediating the ubiquitination of key protein substrates involved in cell cycle ...

USP10 Inhibits Ferroptosis via Deubiquinating POLR2A in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma
This study identifies USP10 as a novel deubiquitinase that antagonizes ferroptosis in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Mechanistically, USP10 directly stabilizes POLR2A protein through post‐translational deubiquitination, enabling POLR2A‐mediated transcriptional activation of SLC7A11, a key ferroptosis inhibitor.

IKK phosphorylates Huntingtin and targets it for degradation by the proteasome and lysosome [PDF]
Expansion of the polyglutamine repeat within the protein Huntingtin (Htt) causes Huntington's disease, a neurodegenerative disease associated with aging and the accumulation of mutant Htt in diseased neurons.

In the context of chronic hyperglycemia, a DDR is initiated, leading to the pathological activation of DNA‐PKcs in the diabetic heart. This activated DNA‐PKcs directly interacts with and phosphorylates YAP1 at Thr226, thereby increasing the nuclear expression of YAP1.

MYC is a transcription factor (TF) that binds DNA near transcriptional start sites (TSSs) and within enhancer elements. Here, unappreciated sites of MYC binding in the vicinity of transcriptional end sites (TESs) of many genes in multiple cell types in association with numerous other TFs are described previously.

20S and 26S proteasome-binding proteins of the rabbit brain: A proteomic dataset
Fractions of 26S and 20S proteasomes isolated from the rabbit brain by the method of salt fractionation (salt-induced precipitation) contain intrinsic proteasome proteins responsible for assembly of the core particle and regulatory particle of proteasome
