A substrate promiscuous and regioselective O‐methyltransferase, SmOMT, is functionally and structurally characterized. A double mutant, SmOMTE152A/I306A, exhibited enhanced catalytic activity. By coupling this mutant with a mutant halide methyltransferase, AtHMTV140T, for SAM regeneration, a superior artificial fusion enzyme, AtHMTV140T‐L95‐SmOMTE152A ...

A defect‐engineered assembly strategy is reported for the in situ encapsulation of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) into amorphous MOF‐74, endowing the composite with superior catalytic activity and target recognition capability. Leveraging these structural advantages, a sensitive and stable biosensor is constructed for the detection of paraoxon pesticide ...

Tracking physical impacts is important in many fields. Self‐assembled microparticles made from polydiacetylene and silk fibroin that change color from blue to red when hit can provide an alternative approach to traditional mechanical transducers, quantitatively visualizing impact with responses ranging from <100 to 770 N.

Breast cancer reprograms the lung into a receptive pre‐metastatic niche via a novel G‐CSF–VEGFA–KDR signaling axis. Using a micro‐organ chip that enables contact‐independent coculture, this study uncovers how tumor‐secreted G‐CSF activates lung capillary KDR to drive angiogenesis and prime the soil for metastasis—without direct tumor contact.
