Consensus molecular subtypes (CMS1‐4) have been identified to study colorectal cancer heterogeneity and serve as potential biomarkers. In this study, we developed and evaluated NanoCMSer, a NanoString‐based classifier using 55 genes, optimized for FF and FFPE to facilitate the clinical evaluation of CMS subtyping.

A New Route for the Determination of Protein Structure and Function [PDF]
Understanding complex biological macromolecules, especially proteins, is vital for grasping their diverse chemical functions with direct impact in biology and pharmacology. While techniques like X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy have been valuable, they face limitations such as radiation damage and difficulties in crystallizing certain

Tumor microenvironment drives cancer formation and progression. We analyzed the role of human cancer‐associated adipocytes from patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) stratified as lean, overweight, or obese. RNA‐seq demonstrated that, among the most altered genes involved in the tumor–stroma crosstalk, are ADAM12 and CYP1B1, which were proven to be ...

AutoProteinEngine: A Large Language Model Driven Agent Framework for Multimodal AutoML in Protein Engineering [PDF]
Protein engineering is important for biomedical applications, but conventional approaches are often inefficient and resource-intensive. While deep learning (DL) models have shown promise, their training or implementation into protein engineering remains challenging for biologists without specialized computational expertise.
