Small, EarlyView.A freeze‐dried copper‐based metal‐organic framework removes more than 95% of manganese from water. Capturing the metal reorganizes the framework, giving the used adsorbent a second life as a reusable catalyst that produces valuable ester products in yields up to 84%.

Small, EarlyView.MOFs can serve as effective proton conductors owing to their porous structures and well‐defined channels. In this study, the protic ionic liquid [Dema][TfO] is introduced into ZIF‐8 cages. The confined [Dema][TfO] can transfer between adjacent ZIF‐8 cages, inducing cage expansion through the swing effect.

Latin American Applied Research - An international journal, 2014 Ultrasonic velocities and density of various concentrations (0.01 to 0.10M) of anti protozoal drog “Diloxanide Furoate” in methanol, dimethyl formamide and 1,4-dioxan have been measured at 308.15 K by using single crystal variable path ultrasonic interferometer operating at 2 MHz and pycnometer respectively.
