Membrane Polymers for the Pervaporative Separation of Polar Organics: Methanol and Acetonitrile
We tested seven polymers as membranes for the pervaporative separation of methanol‐acetonitrile mixtures. Chloroprene rubber, silicone rubber, and Matrimid showed effective separation by favoring acetonitrile transport, enabling azeotrope breaking. Plasticization was assessed using Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy.

The synthesis of aromatic amino alcohols via a combination of an unspecific peroxygenase‐catalysed reaction, oxyfunctionalization, and addition of selected nucleophiles and electrophiles in a highly atom‐efficient manner was investigated. This study presents the design to aim for an atom‐efficient chemo‐enzymatic synthesis route towards aromatic amino ...

Efficient Microwave‐Assisted Hydrolytic Recycling of Poly(L‐Lactic Acid)
Microwave‐assisted hydrolysis of poly(lactic acid) promoted by a zinc catalyst. A highly efficient procedure performed under mild reaction conditions and in the absence of solvents aligning with green chemistry principles. Poly(L‐Lactic acid) (PLLA) is a bio‐based and biodegradable thermoplastic polymer widely recognized as a leading sustainable ...

This work presents the first FFC NMR relaxometry study of a fully protonated ionic liquid, [TEA][OMs]. Using selective partial deuteration, cation and anion dynamics were disentangled, enabling the hidden cation–anion relaxation contributions to be quantified and the total relaxation rate to be reconstructed.

Fluorination reduces solid‐state thermal stability of 1,3,2‐benzodithiazolyl radicals and modulates crystal structures (e.g., by means of a new supramolecular zip‐synthon) and reactivity, in the latter case toward transformations unknown in the hydrocarbon series but potentially general in the fluorocarbon one.
