Defect‐Rich Ir Single‐Atom/NiMnOx Catalyst: From Surface Reconstruction to Practical PEM Electrolysis

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Materials, EarlyView.
A novel IrSA─NiMnOx composite achieves remarkable oxygen evolution reaction performance in acidic media with an overpotential of 193 mV at 10 mA cm−2 and maintains stability for 800 h at 200 mA cm−2, which is attributed to the atomically dispersed Ir atoms and amorphous NiMnOx carriers and the lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism.
