The development of protoplast-to-tree systems for Prunus cerasifera and Prunus spinosa
Plant Science, 1992Abstract Strategies are presented that permitted the successful isolation of large numbers of highly viable mesophyll protoplasts of Prunus cerasifera and P. spinosa and their conversion to whole plants. Using a modified MS-based medium, supplemented with 2,4-D and BAP (for P. cerasifera clone P2032), with NAA and zeatin (for P.

Rheological behaviour of sloe (Prunus spinosa) fruit juices
Journal of Food Engineering, 1996Abstract The rheological behaviour of sloe fruit juices with low pulp and pectins contents is studied. These juices, containing pectins and pulp, behave as non-Newtonian with a yield stress, so the Bingham model was used to describe the relationship between the shear stress and the shear rate.
