Kondo Effects and Multipolar Order in the cubic PrTr2Al20 (Tr=Ti, V)
Our single crystal study reveals that PrTr2Al20 (Tr = Ti and V) provides the first examples of a cubic {\Gamma}3 nonmagnetic ground doublet system that shows the Kondo effect including a -ln T dependent resistivity.

This study presents a new sampling‐based model predictive control minimizing reverse Kullback‐Leibler divergence to quickly find a local optimum. In addition, a modified Nesterov's acceleration method is introduced for faster convergence. The method is effective for real‐time simulations and real‐world operability improvement on a force‐driven mobile ...

Development and immunogenicity evaluation of a quadruple-gene-deleted pseudorabies virus strain
Since 2011, the emergence of Pseudorabies virus (PRV) variants has led to significant vaccine failures, resulting in severe economic losses in China’s swine industry.

Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and Pseudorabies (PR) are highly contagious diseases caused by Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (PRRSV) and Pseudorabies virus (PRV). Due to the limited protective ability of currently commercialized vaccines against NADC30‐like PRRSV and PRV variants, the pathological damage ...

A highly virulent and antigenic variant of pseudorabies virus (PRV) broke out in China at the end of 2011 and caused great economic loss in the pig industry. In this study, an infectious bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clone containing the full-length genome of the emerged variant PRV ZJ01 strain was generated.

Studies on the mechanism of retinoid-induced pattern duplications in the early chick limb bud: temporal and spatial aspects. [PDF]
All-trans-retinoic acid causes striking digit pattern changes when it is continuously released from a bead implanted in the anterior margin of an early chick wing bud.

Identification of porcine PARP11 as a restricted factor for pseudorabies virus
IntroductionPRV infection in swine can cause devastating disease and pose a potential threat to humans. Advancing the interplay between PRV and host is essential to elucidate the pathogenic mechanism of PRV and identify novel anti-PRV targets ...
