Pseudoreflections on Prym Varieties
We show that for every g greater or equal than 5, the locus of Prym varieties in the moduli space of principally polarized abelian varieties of dimension g-1 that possess a pseudoreflection of geometric origin is the union of three different non-empty explicit irreducible families.

Prym Varieties and Integrable Systems
A new relation between Prym varieties of arbitrary morphisms of algebraic curves and integrable systems is discovered. The action of maximal commutative subalgebras of the formal loop algebra of GL(n) defined on certain infinite-dimensional Grassmannians is studied. It is proved that every finite-dimensional orbit of the action of traceless elements of

Families of Prym varieties of abelian coverings and shimura varieties
Under the condition that the Prym map is injective in characteristic p, we prove that the special subvarieties in the moduli space of abelian varieties of dimension l and polarization type D, Al,D, arising from families of abelian covers of P1 are of a very restrictive nature.

Prym varieties that are not isomorphic to Jacobian
We study Prym varieties of ramified (at precisely two points) double covers of smooth irreducible complex projectives curves that admit an automorphism of prime order $p>2$. Using Galois theory, we give an explicit constructions of Prym varieties that are not isomorphic to jacobians (even if one ignores the polarizations).
