PSA and Bone Scintigraphy

open access: yesThe International Journal of Biological Markers, 1997
The authors evaluate the role of prostate specific antigen (PSA) and bone scintigraphy in the follow-up of radical prostatectomy-treated and radiotherapy-treated patients. 784 patients were evaluated by simultaneous PSA assay and bone scans. The correlation between PSA levels and extension of bone metastases was good.

A Multi-Center Study of [−2]Pro-Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) in Combination with PSA and Free PSA for Prostate Cancer Detection in the 2.0 to 10.0 ng/mL PSA Range

open access: yesJournal of Urology, 2011
Purpose PSA and free PSA (fPSA) have limited specificity for detecting clinically significant, curable prostate cancer (PCa), leading to unnecessary biopsies and detection and treatment of some indolent tumors.

A multi-criteria design framework for the synthesis of complex pressure swing adsorption cycles for CO2 capture

open access: yes, 2010
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) is the most efficient option for middle scale separation processes. PSA is a cyclic process whose main steps are adsorption, at high pressure, and regeneration of the adsorbent, at low pressure.
