The authors describe the dynamic behavior of position sensitive detectors. Earlier work has described the PSD response to changes in light intensity. Here, we investigate the PSD response to a change of light spot position. We call the linear filter describing this response the PSD transfer function (PTF).

The PSD of the Wavelet-Packet Modulation
2001On the wavelet-packet modulation scheme, wavelet packets are used as carriers, where information to be transmitted is encoded, via an inverse wavelet packet transform, as the coefficient of wavelet packets. The power spectrum density (PSD) of the modulated signals describes the property of modulation in frequency domain, which is discussed by many ...

Experimental implementation of PSDs
2012 10th IEEE/IAS International Conference on Industry Applications, 2012A comparison of different methods used to detect the fundamental positive sequence component of grid voltage, is analyzed in this work. These detection methods are necessary to achieve proper synchronization between generation systems, based on renewable energy, and the grid where this systems are connected.

Abstract An Anger Camera PSD is due for installation soon on the Single Crystal Diffractometer (SXD) at the Spallation Neutron Source, ISIS. The camera has an active area of 300 × 300 mm, divided into 128 × 128 pixels, giving a resolution of 2–3 mm on the detector surface.

Synaptic adhesion molecules and PSD-95
Progress in Neurobiology, 2008Synaptic adhesion molecules are known to participate in various steps of synapse development including initial contacts between dendrites and axons, formation of early synapses, and their maturation and plastic changes. Notably, a significant subset of synaptic adhesion molecules associates with synaptic scaffolding proteins, suggesting that they may ...

On Speech Enhancement Under PSD Uncertainty
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing, 2018Many well-known and frequently employed Bayesian clean speech estimators have been derived under the assumption that the true power spectral densities (PSDs) of speech and noise are exactly known. In practice, however, only power spectral density (PSD) estimates are available.

The Medicines Act 1968 and its regulations authorize the supply and administration of prescription only medicines. The 1968 Act generally requires an appropriate practitioner to provide a prescription for the supply of such drugs. The Prescription Only Medicines (Human Use) Order 1997, however, allows for a more flexible approach to the supply and ...

On the convergence of the parallel multisplitting PSD algorithm
International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1998Summary: \textit{D. P. O'Leary} and \textit{R. E. White} [SIAM J. Algebraic Discrete Methods 6, 630-640 (1985; Zbl 0582.65018)] have suggested a parallel multisplitting iteration scheme for solving a nonsingular linear system \(Ax=b\). We present a class of relaxed parallel multiplitting algorithms, called the parallel multisplitting positive ...
