The Role of Current Mismatch on Reverse‐Bias Stability of Monolithic Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Reverse‐bias stability in monolithic perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells requires a silicon–current‐limited regime. When the perovskite current exceeds the silicon current, the reverse voltage is mainly borne by the silicon cell, reducing perovskite stress.

Antioxidative and neuroprotective activities of peanut sprout extracts against oxidative stress in SK-N-SH cells

open access: yesAsian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, 2017
Objective: To evaluate the protective effect of peanut sprout extract (PSE) against paraquat (PQ) induced SK-N-SH cells. Methods: Three groups of cells were used in the experiment, together with a fourth, control group. One group was treated with PQ, the

Co‐Catalyst/Semiconductor Interface Coupling Design for Efficient Solar‐Driven Photocatalysis

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Interfacial coupling strength is proposed as a unifying descriptor governing charge‐transfer behavior in co‐catalyst/semiconductor photocatalytic systems. This review establishes a coupling‐strength‐guided framework that correlates interface engineering strategies with charge transport pathways, electronic structure regulation, and photocatalytic ...

Closing the Loop in Agrivoltaics: A Radiative Cooling Coating for Synergistic Self‐Cleaning and Water Harvesting

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A nanostructured photonic‐thermal coating enables radiative‐cooling‐induced condensation and water harvesting, establishing a self‐sustaining agrivoltaics microclimate loop that transforms PV panels into active climate regulators. The integration of photovoltaic (PV) panels into agricultural landscapes (i.e., agrivoltaics) offers a promising path for ...

Mesenchymal stromal cell therapy is a long-term regenerative approach for chronic radiation cystitis, involving coordinated modulation of the urothelial, immune, vascular, and fibrotic pathways

open access: yesStem Cell Research & Therapy
Background Chronic radiation cystitis (CRC) is a disabling late adverse effect of pelvic irradiation, characterized by urothelial barrier loss, persistent inflammation, vascular alteration, and progressive fibrosis.

Retro‐Hetero‐Michael Addition Strategies in Organic Synthesis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
In this review, synthetic approaches to carbo‐ and heterocyclic compounds, including natural products, published in the last 15 years (2011–2025) which have either relied upon or included a retro‐hetero‐Michael addition step at any stage are discussed.

Persistent inconsistencies in patient cost variability within the French DRG classification system over the 2012–2019 period

open access: yesHealth Economics Review
This paper evaluates the effectiveness of the 2009 French Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) classification reform, which introduced four severity levels within each DRG, ranging from low to very high, with corresponding increases in fixed-price ...

WONOEP appraisal: Biomarkers and treatment strategies beyond the synapse

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Epilepsy is a heterogeneous neurological disorder affecting more than 70 million people worldwide, posing significant challenges for clinicians due to its complex etiology, diverse manifestations, variable treatment responses, and the inability to predict seizures or disease onset reliably.

The Effect of PSE and Non-PSE Adductor and Semimembranosus Pig Muscles on the Occurrence of Destructured Zones in Cooked Hams

open access: yesJournal of Food Quality, 2017
The aim of this study was to analyse pig muscles used in the production of cooked hams with a view to the occurrence of PSE-type defects and their potential effect on the frequency of destructured zones in finished products.

Pelvic axial rotation in hindlimb lame horses changes after diagnostic analgesia

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Visual assessment of mild to moderate hindlimb lameness has low sensitivity and specificity, potentially leading to flawed diagnostic procedures. Pelvic axial rotation (roll) makes the assessment more complex but is also a potential source of information. Objectives To describe pelvic roll patterns in horses with unilateral hindlimb
