Fourier Method For an Existence of Quasilinear Inverse Pseudo-Parabolic Equation

open access: yesIranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics
Summary: In this work, the inverse quasi-linear pseudo-parabolic problem was investigated. We demonstrated the solution by the Fourier approximation. The inverse problem was first examined by linearizing and then used implicit finite difference schema for the numerical solution.

Tailoring Microstructure in Copper‐Based Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Enhanced Chemiresistive Sensing and Uptake of Sulfur Dioxide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Precursor‐ and solvent‐mediated synthesis yields four Cu3(HHTP)2 morphologies with distinct physicochemical, sorption, and sensing properties toward SO2. Uptake capacities correlate with BET surface area, while sensing performance scales with particle aspect ratio.

Dwell time shaping in inverse treatment planning for cervical brachytherapy

open access: yesPhysics and Imaging in Radiation Oncology
Background and purpose: Manual treatment planning for cervical brachytherapy is a challenging task; therefore, we investigated a method for inverse treatment planning using pseudo-structures to control the dwell distribution. Our hypothesis was that this

Peculiar Features of Equalizing Height Difference Using Least-Squares’ Method while Applying Pseudo-Inverse Matrixes

open access: yesНаука и техника, 2004
The papęr shows that an application of the generalized least-squares’ method for equalizing base leveling networks looks rather prospective. A modem approach is used to equalize zero-free networks. It presupposes that elevation differences between points

Equivalence of gradient flows and entropy solutions for singular nonlocal interaction equations in 1D [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We prove the equivalence between the notion of Wasserstein gradient flow for a one-dimensional nonlocal transport PDE with attractive/repulsive Newtonian potential on one side, and the notion of entropy solution of a Burgers-type scalar conservation law ...

Solar Heating Enhanced Selective Recovery of Metal Ions Through Flowing Electrodes Enabled by Hybrid Carbon Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A new electrochemical system based on a microporous hybrid of carbon nanoplatelets and nanotubes to selectively capture Ni2+ from wastewater is constructed. The system temperature rises rapidly when irradiated with sunlight, which enhances the Ni2+ removal rate by 250% and the selectivity by 53%, and the energy consumption is also reduced by 51 ...

Ilk_inv: a Matlab based algorithm for rapid computation of pseudo-3D density contrast distribution by using Bouguer gravity data

open access: yesBulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration, 2021
The new generation Matlab-based algorithm provides a rapid estimation of density contrast distribution. The 3D assumption, which is based on the 1D equation, is used. Therefore, the output is called pseudo-3D instead of 3D.

Regression or Pseudo-Inverse – Which Method Should be Preferred When Developing Inverse Linear ECG-Lead Transformations?

open access: yesComputing in Cardiology Conference (CinC), 2020
Linear ECG-lead transformations estimate or derive unrecorded target leads by applying a number of recorded basis leads to a so-called linear ECG-lead transformation matrix. The inverse transform of such a linear ECG-lead transformation performs a transformation in the opposite direction (from the target leads to the basis leads). The pseudo-inverse of

Spatially Tailorable Liquid Crystalline Elastomer Alignment During Digital Light Process 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we report the fabrication of 3D printable liquid crystalline elastomer (LCE) structures with spatially tailorable alignment domains within the same layer. This work addresses the long‐standing challenge of preparing complex 3D LCE architectures with patterned functional domains to achieve nonlinear deformations. Fabrication of multi‐domains in 3D
